We figured that Parker's first day of school would be a little tough on the other kids, mostly Preslie, as well. They are used to having their big brother around to do everything with them, and it has to be a little confusing when all of a sudden he isn't there.
So Eric, who actually had the first half of the day off, and I decided to go to the Zoo, with only TWO kids. Two is so much more different than three. You wouldn't think so, but it is. At the time the Boise Zoo had just put in dinosaurs - so we enticed them there with that. Paxton loved the dinosaurs. Preslie was a little scared of them. I think once she realized they weren't real she was slightly less terrified, but not much.
Overall though it was a huge success and it was nice to get to spend some time with our little kiddos to let them have a special day as well.
